7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. When you are not signed in, we load Google Analytics (Google tag / gtag.js) to understand aggregated traffic and referrals on public marketing pages; once you are authenticated, that script is not loaded so your use of the signed-in application is not measured by Google Analytics in the same way. You can use browser extensions or settings to limit analytics.

• token (HTTP-only, secure in production): keeps you signed in after login.
• github_oauth_state, github_oauth_return_url (short-lived): used only during the GitHub connection flow to prevent CSRF and return you to the right page.
• sidebar:state (where present): remembers UI layout in the dashboard; not used for advertising.
